While Goldendoodles do not have a specific Kennel Club classification of their own, they are usually classified as a "Companion Dog" due to their friendly and playful personalities.
Managing allergies with Goldendoodles is possible and there are some strategies you can use. One way is to brush and groom your Goldendoodle regularly with a hypoallergenic brush to remove dander and other allergens, then vacuum the fur off the furniture and carpets. Another way is to give your Goldendoodle an omega-3 supplement, which can decrease inflammation and minimize reactions in individuals who are sensitive to allergens. You could also consider installing a HEPA filter air purifier, which can help to capture airborne allergens within your home.

Goldendoodles typically range in size from small to large, depending on their parent breeds, the miniature or standard Poodle, and the Golden Retriever. On average, fully grown Standard Goldendoodles reach anywhere between 20 to 27 inches tall and weigh between 40 to 70 pounds. The Miniature Goldendoodles, however, will usually be somewhere in the 10 to 15-inch range and weigh 15 to 35 pounds. While there is no single answer to the question of how many minutes per day you should walk your Goldendoodle, on average, walking between thirty and sixty minutes a day is generally recommended.
