A Goldendoodle is a crossbreed or hybrid dog created when a Golden Retriever is crossed with a Poodle. These hybrids are designed to combine the best characteristics of both breeds, including inheriting a relaxed, amiable, and gentle nature, with low to non-shedding coats and a playfulness that's irresistible to both families and furry friends alike. Goldendoodles may come in a variety of sizes from mini, midi and maxi; have wavy or curly coats; and even have shades of color from creams, golden, blondes and reds.
Managing allergies with Goldendoodles is possible with some precautions and lifestyle adjustments. Since Goldendoodles do not have fur like other breeds, they produce less dander and accumulate less pollen. To help manage allergies, it's important to maintain regular grooming and vacuuming of the home. Bathe your Goldendoodle regularly and vacuum carpets and furniture routinely.
