Questions & Answers
Goldendoodles are a crosses between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. The Doodle part of their name comes from the Poodle, and the Golden part comes from their Golden Retriever parent. They are considered to be a designer dog breed.
A Goldendoodle's coat is similar to that of a Golden Retriever. It is curly and soft, and can be either long or short. The coat may also be hypoallergenic, which makes it ideal for people with allergies.
Goldendoodles are generally very food-motivated, which means they'll eat just about anything you put in front of them. This isn't necessarily a good thing, though, as there are some human foods that can be harmful even deadly to dogs. So, how do you know what not to feed your Goldendoodle? The best way to start is by familiarizing yourself with the list of human foods that are toxic to dogs. This list includes common household items like chocolate, grapes, and onions.
Before you get your Goldendoodle, there are a few things you should pick up to make their life (and yours!) a little easier. A crate or kennel is a must for any Goldendoodle this will be their safe space when they need a break from the action or are being crate-trained. Puppy pads are also a good idea to have on hand, in case of any accidents.
Goldendoodles generally range from 20 to 35 pounds and 20 to 26 inches in height, so they are considered medium to large dogs.
You can take your Goldendoodle running, but there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, Goldendoodles are a mix of two breeds the Golden Retriever and the Standard Poodle and each breed has different exercise needs. Golden Retrievers are bred for hunting and retrieving, so they have high energy levels and need a lot of exercise. Standard Poodles were originally bred as water dogs, so they're more athletic than the Golden Retriever and need a bit more exercise.
Goldendoodles are good family dogs because they are loving, friendly, and intelligent. They are also easy to train and are good with children.
Most people believe that Goldendoodles are smart dogs because they are a cross between two intelligent breeds: the Golden Retriever and the Poodle. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. Nevertheless, many dog owners and trainers say that Goldendoodles are indeed intelligent pups. They are often quick to pick up new tricks and commands, and they are good at problem-solving. So, whether or not Goldendoodles are considered "smart" dogs is up for debate.
