What makes them so special is their playful, friendly, and intelligent personalities. But beyond their goofy and enthusiastic nature, Goldendoodles also hold the unique distinction of being exceptionally low-shedding and hypoallergenic dogs. This makes them ideal companions for families with allergies or those seeking a home without any shedding.
While Goldendoodles are not necessarily hypoallergenic, they are bred to have a low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat. Other sizes are Teacup, which weighs up to 10 pounds; Miniature, which ranges from 15-30 pounds; Small, ranging from 30-45 pounds; Medium, which can top out at about 60 pounds; Large, weighing up to 65 pounds; and Giant, which is over 70 pounds.
