Goldendoodles are a breed of designer dog, a cross between a golden retriever and a poodle. They are extremely intelligent, highly trainable, and tend to be very social, making it easy for them to fit into any home environment. Goldendoodles also rarely shed, making them an excellent choice for those with allergies. Grooming needs are minimal, but regular brushing is recommended in order to prevent any matting or tangling from occurring. The Goldendoodle's coat is a combination of a Golden Retriever's and a Poodle's coats. The result is a coat that is soft to the touch, very striking and, typically, hypoallergenic.
