Goldendoodles are a mixture of Golden Retriever and Poodle. They are usually considered to be hypoallergenic and can be used as service dogs. Goldendoodles come in different sizes, ranging from small to extra large, and can be anywhere from 35 to 90 pounds. They have a friendly and social temperament, making them good pets for families. They require regular grooming and should be given daily walks. With proper training, Goldendoodles can learn basic commands and tricks.
Goldendoodles are a hybrid of two different breeds and can differ in their shedding and coat characteristics, so it really depends on the individual dog. Generally speaking, Goldendoodles do tend to produce fewer allergens than other breeds, but there is no guarantee that someone with allergies will not be affected. If you are allergic, it is recommended that you meet a Goldendoodle prior to according, and spent time observing how your body reacts.
