Goldendoodles are often considered to be the ideal family dog. This hybrid breed is a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, and they usually have an eager-to-please demeanor and a gentle, loving personality. They are well-suited to both city and country living, as they have the energy and intelligence of both the Poodle and the Golden Retriever. Goldendoodles have a medium coat that doesn't require a tremendous amount of grooming.
Goldendoodles can be low or non-shedding depending on the coat they inherited from their parents. Generally, if the Goldendoodle has a coat of wavy or curly fur, their coat will be lowor non-shedding. This is due to the fact that the poodle's coat is more dense and curly, and doesn't shed the same amount as a Golden Retriever's coat. Furthermore, Goldendoodles that exhibit a straight coat are more likely to shed due to the Golden Retriever genes they inherited.
Goldendoodles, a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, don't have any specific dietary needs that differ from most other breeds of dogs. However, they may require more protein than some dog breeds due to their high energy levels. It's important to consult your veterinarian for recommendations on the best type of food and feeding frequency for your particular Goldendoodle. Some Goldendoodles may require a higher-fiber diet due to the potential for developing allergies or stomach issues.

Additionally, you should purchase puppy-grade house training materials such as potty pads and crate.
Goldendoodles vary in size depending on their mix of parent breeds, but generally speaking, an adult Goldendoodle can weigh anywhere from 20 to 100 pounds and reach heights between 16 and 24 inches. Some Goldendoodles are considered “Mini” and can weigh around 10 to 25 pounds. Standard Goldendoodles tend to be the largest, while “Toy” and “Petite” Goldendoodles are generally smaller.
