Goldendoodles are classified as a hybrid, or designer, breed that is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. Goldendoodles typically weigh between 45 and 80 pounds and stand between 13 and 24 inches at the shoulder. They typically have a thick but wavy coat that can be anywhere from cream to black in color. Goldendoodles are known for their playful, affectionate nature and their intelligence, which makes them easy to train. They are good family dogs and typically have good relationships with other pets.
Goldendoodles are not considered hypoallergenic. Goldendoodles can produce dander -a dead skin cells similar to humansand saliva, both of which are known to cause allergic reactions. However, it's important to note that the levels of dander and saliva produced by Goldendoodles is often much lower than that of other breeds. While a Goldendoodle may be better tolerated by those with allergies than other breeds, this cannot be guaranteed.

Older Goldendoodle's need more low-impact activities such as leisurely strolls, swimming, playing with other dogs, and scent games.
Goldendoodles are an excellent choice for young families, as they are naturally inclined to be incredibly gentle and affectionate. Goldendoodles do well with children of all ages and do not require an overly strenuous amount of exercise to maintain their upbeat attitude.
