Did you know that Goldendoodles were bred in the 1990s? This hybrid was created by breeding a Golden Retriever with a Standard Poodle. The resulting pups were intended to have the best traits of both breeds, including being low-shedding and hypoallergenic. Fun fact: the name “Goldendoodle” was actually coined by a breeder in Australia!
Goldendoodles are not hypoallergenic, but they are often advertised as such. The truth is, there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog breed. All dogs produce dander, which is what causes allergies in people. However, some breeds (including the Goldendoodle) advertise themselves as "hypoallergenic" because they produce less dander than other breeds.
One of the great things about Goldendoodles is that they are generally very good eaters and have few dietary restrictions. However, there are a few things you should avoid feeding them. First, Goldendoodles should not eat chocolate as it can be toxic to them. Secondly, Goldendoodles should not eat onions or garlic as these can cause anemia. Third, Goldendoodles should not eat grapes or raisins as these can cause kidney failure. Finally, Goldendoodles should not eat bones as these can splinter and cause internal damage.

If you're planning on taking your Goldendoodle running, make sure you start slow and gradually work up to longer distances. It's also important to pay attention to the weather if it's too hot or cold outside, it's best to stick to walks. And always make sure your dog has plenty of water to stay hydrated.
