They are the ultimate combination of a poodle's intelligence and a Golden Retriever's eagerness to please. With their eagerness and intelligence, they are often easy to train and are known to be extremely loyal. Additionally, Goldendoodles often don't shed, so their coats are lovingly soft and allergy-friendly.
Goldendoodles are generally considered to be a hypoallergenic breed. That doesn't mean that they don't cause any allergies, but they are dramatically less likely to cause an allergic reaction than most other breeds. If you have severe allergies, it may still be worthwhile to do an allergy test prior to bringing a Goldendoodle into your home, just to make sure.
