A Goldendoodle is a very popular hybrid breed that is a mix of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. This breed is often desired because they can be anywhere from small to large in size and will have the temperament of a Golden Retriever, as well as the intelligence of a Poodle. Goldendoodles typically have a fuller, wavy coat that can come in many colors like white, cream, black, or even a mix of colors. They require frequent grooming and exercise to stay healthy and happy.
Goldendoodles are not considered hypoallergenic, although they produce far less dander than other breeds of dogs such as poodles. As a hybrid breed, Goldendoodles benefit from the low-shedding coat of their poodle parent, which helps to reduce the amount of allergens in the air that can cause reactions in people with allergies. Although they are not completely hypoallergenic, Goldendoodles are ideal family pets for those with allergies as they are much more tolerable than many other breeds.
