They are a mix of Golden Retrievers and Poodles and have a pleasant, easy-going temperament combined with intelligence and the hybrid vigor of crossing two breeds. These gentle but energetic canines make excellent family pets and also work well as therapy and service animals. The most interesting thing about Goldendoodles is they tend to shed less than other breeds.
Goldendoodles are low-shedding, hypoallergenic dogs, so in many cases they do not trigger allergies.
