They can have either a curly, wavy or straight coat, and come in a variety of colors. Goldendoodles are incredibly friendly and affectionate, making them ideal companion pets. They're also highly intelligent, as both of their parent breeds are known for it, so they're easy to train. Goldendoodles are also highly adaptable and make excellent family pets as they love people of all ages.
Goldendoodles are often described as lowto non-shedding, as their coats can vary widely depending on which breeds make up their DNA. Generally, their coats are wavy and soft and can range from straight to a tight curl. Goldendoodle coats can be wavy, shaggy, or a combination of both. Goldendoodle coats may also have either a thinner texture or a thick, wooly coat.
Goldendoodles are generally healthy dogs with specific dietary needs, so you should be aware of what not to feed them. The Mini Goldendoodle is somewhat taller, and weighs between 15 and 30 pounds. The Standard Goldendoodle is the tallest option, standing between 21 and 24 inches at the shoulder, and typically weighing between 45 and 100 pounds.
