The origin of the Goldendoodle is an interesting story as well, with the breed being the result of crossing the Poodle and Golden Retriever breeds. Additionally, Goldendoodles typically have hypoallergenic fur. While they do need regular grooming, they do not shed very often, making them a great option for people who have pet allergies.
