They are becoming more popular as companion dogs because they typically have a sweet, loving, and friendly disposition. They tend to be intelligent and loyal and tend to form strong attachments to their owners. Goldendoodles can come in a variety of colors and sizes, with some being in the mini category. On average, Goldendoodle's can live between 10-15 years and need regular exercise, grooming, and mental stimulation.
Goldendoodles are a hybrid breed that are generally thought to be hypoallergenic due to the absence of fur and the low to non-shedding coat. However, it is possible for people to be allergic to these dogs, just like with any other type of dog. Some people may be allergic to the dander, saliva, or even the oils from the fur of a Goldendoodle. If you have allergies, it is best to observe a Goldendoodle with which you have not yet been in contact and see if any allergy symptoms arise.

Last, but not least, it's essential to identify a puppy-safe area of your house for your Goldendoodle to explore without the risk of getting into hazardous items.
Goldendoodles can reach a variety of sizes depending on their generation. F1 Goldendoodles, which are a 50/50 mix of Golden Retriever and a Standard Poodle, can reach sizes between 21-23 inches and 40-60 pounds. F1B Goldendoodles, which are 75% Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever, usually have a larger frame and reach sizes of between 24-26 inches and 60-80 pounds.
Generally, Goldendoodles require about an hour of physical activity a day. That doesn't necessarily mean that you need to walk them for an hour straight; it can be broken into smaller segments over the course of the day. Ideally, you should try to get them to walk for at least 30 to 40 minutes each day. This can be done in two or three separate outings per day. Remember that exercise is good for your pup's mental and physical health, so take advantage of sunny days to make walking your Goldendoodle even more enjoyable for the both of you.
