Goldendoodles are a hybrid breed of dog created by crossing a Golden Retriever with a Poodle. They are energetic, intelligent, and highly trainable dogs that make wonderful companions. Goldendoodles usually have a friendly and outgoing personality and can be great with children and other family pets. They typically have a soft, curly coat that requires regular brushing and grooming to maintain. Depending on the type of Poodle used in the crossbreed, Goldendoodles can come in various sizes, and their coats can range from short and wiry to soft and curly.
Goldendoodles are often referred to as "hypoallergenic" due to their low-shedding coats, however this isn't entirely accurate. While their coats can be considered low-shedding or lower-allergen due to the poodle cross in them, there is still potential for people with allergies to show a reaction to their wash-and-wear coats.
