This hybrid breed is often hypoallergenic and low-shedding, making them a great pet for most households.
Goldendoodles can be born with a variety of coat types, from wiry to fluffy, and this may affect their overall potential to be hypoallergenic. There are no guarantees that any breed of dog is 100% hypoallergenic, and each individual puppy, no matter the breed, will require a hypoallergenic test to determine their suitability for those with a tendency for allergies.

Generally, Miniature Goldendoodles will be between 10-15 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh 15-35 lbs when fully grown. Medium Goldendoodles will reach heights of 16-20 inches and weigh 40-50 lbs when fully grown. And Standard Goldendoodles will reach heights of over 20 inches and weigh 50-90 lbs when fully grown. Goldendoodles are naturally well-suited for swimming due to their water-resistant coat and webbed feet. However, it is important to make sure your Goldendoodle is a comfortable swimmer by gradually introducing him/her to the activity. Start by having your Goldendoodle practice wading in shallow water, then gradually increase the depth as he/she becomes more comfortable.

Depending on your goals, you could need as little as 10-15 minutes and up to an hour for more advanced training.
