This combination of breeds results in a loyal, friendly, and good-natured canine companion. As a designer breed, they are super smart and highly trainable due to their inherited intelligence from the two parent breeds.
Goldendoodles are often referred to as "non-shedding" because their coats tend to shed less than other breeds, however they may shed still. Goldendoodles can also have coats that are a balance of the two parent breeds that make up the hybrid, which can be either low shedding or high shedding. Regular brushing, bathing, and groomings can help to reduce shedding and keep Goldendoodles looking their best.
Goldendoodles are considered a relatively healthy breed, so their dietary needs are largely the same as those of other dog breeds. However, Goldendoodles are prone to allergies and other digestive problems, so it's a good idea to be mindful of what you feed them. It's important to read up on the particular needs of your Goldendoodle because each animal is unique and may require a slightly different diet.
