Goldendoodles are hybrid, designer dogs that are a mix of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. As such, they often share the same coat characteristics and shed very little, making them great for those with allergies and a desire for a minimal-shedding breed. Goldendoodles generally have a tightly curled or wavy coat which has fewer loose hairs becoming airborne than other coat types. In addition, regular cabin grooming can help to keep hair under control for this breed. That being said, all animals do shed some amount of hair and Goldendoodles are no exception.
