Goldendoodles have become increasingly popular throughout the years for their hypoallergenic and intelligent properties. Although they are considered to be a relatively new breed, Goldendoodles have taken the pet industry by storm! Here are some interesting facts about them: Goldendoodles can range in size from 14-30 inches tall and up to 100 pounds. They can also come in a wide variety of coat colors, from classic cream to rich chocolate.
While Goldendoodles can be bred to have a coat that is low to non-shedding, it is important to be aware that not all Goldendoodle coat types are consistently non-shedding. When considering an F1 Goldendoodle (50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever), their coat can vary from wiry and curly, to short and more like a Retriever coat. As a result, F1 Goldendoodles can be low to non-shedding or shed lightly and require semi-frequent grooming.
Goldendoodles do not necessarily have any particular dietary needs that other dogs do not.
