Havaneses pups are an intelligent, loyal breed of dog -and there are plenty of interesting facts about them. For starters, despite being a relatively small dog, they are considered the world's most intelligent breed that is capable of remembering commands taught to them over five years prior. Additionally, they can be very vocal, their bark often said to sound like a mix of a yelp and a whine. As a breed, they tend to be adaptable and can enjoy small spaces like apartments because they don't need as much physical exercise as other breeds.
The Havanese coat is unique and quite special. It is double coated, short and wavy, often with a bit of curl. The outercoat does not shed and the undercoat is soft and silky. With regular grooming, the coat can come in an array of colors, including white, creamy, sable, black, blue, silver, red and cream. The coat of a Havanese is referred to as 'hypoallergenic' due to its low-shedding properties.
