A Havanese is a small, fluffy, and friendly breed of dog that originated in Cuba. It is related to the Bichon family of dogs and stands at 8-10 inches in height. The Havanese is known for its intelligence and sociability, which makes it an ideal companion dog. Not only is it playful and affectionate with its owners, but it is also usually good around other pets and people. The Havanese is relatively easy to train and is an energetic and loyal companion.
While there is no such thing as a non-shedding breed, the Havaneses are considered to be one of the breeds with the least amount of shedding.
