Havaneses are a small breed of companion dog originating from Cuba, developed from the cross between a Bichon Frise and a Poodle. They have a distinctive teddy-bear appearance with their curved muzzle and round black eyes, and are characterized by their gentle and playful personalities. Havaneses are generally very friendly, playful and content with other pets, and they are very loyal to their owners. They require regular grooming and regular brushing is necessary to keep their coats free of mats. They need daily exercise and will benefit from obedience training.
