As far as their coat goes, Havaneses are low-shedding, so they make ideal house pets. They also require minimum grooming and their coats should be brushed, but their long hair needs to be kept trimmed.
The Havanese has a silky, long, and wavy double coat that can come in almost any color or shade. It can range from a snowy white to a deep mahogany, and the color can be solid, parti-color or multi-colored.
