Historically, Havaneses were bred to be lap dogs for Cuban upper-class families, and their friendly demeanor and energetic personalities make them excellent choices for families of all sizes. Today, Havaneses are considered one of the most popular companion dogs due to their intelligence and loving nature.
The Havanese breed has an incredibly unique and beautiful coat! The coat is wool-like, long, and silky-perfect for petting or brushing! It comes in a variety of colors, in solids or combinations of white, cream, golden, black, gold-sable, and some have points.
