They are known for their intelligence and willingness to please, and they are the ideal pet for individuals or families looking for a pet with an even-tempered, gentle disposition. Havaneses have minimal grooming needs and require little exercise – occasional walks and some daily playtime are all they need to keep them happy and healthy.
The Havanese coat is luscious and full! It's a multi-layered coat that consists of a gentle undercoat and an outer coat that's cotton-like to the touch. The color of the coat is usually white with shades of cream, or black, brown, chestnut, silver, and gray. Its texture is soft, silky, and lightweight, making it a comfortable and great choice for the Havanese breed. Havanese coats require regular brushing and grooming, especially for the longer hair on their paws, ears, chest, and tail.
It is best to not feed a Havaneses human food like bread, cakes, pizza, chips and other snacks.
