Although no breed can be proved to be 100% hypoallergenic, the Havaneses breed is considered one of the least allergenic breeds of dog. This is because their non-shedding coat is more like human hair, and the dry skin of the breed helps limit dander collections. Socialization, frequent grooming, frequent baths, and regular vacuuming of a Havaneses home can also help further reduce allergen production and accumulation making them ideal for people with allergies.
