They are also known for their athletic ability and agility, making them beloved companions in agility courses, as well as great hunting and sporting dogs. As far as personality goes, Labradors are considered some of the most loving, gentle, and friendly breeds of canine in the world.
Labrador Retrievers are not considered hypoallergenic, meaning they do shed and produce allergens that can result in various allergic reactions.Specific allergies can vary from person to person, and some may find that they can be around Labradors with minimal discomfort. However, since Labradors are a breed of dog that typically sheds moderate to heavy amounts of fur and dander, they are not considered to be hybrid breeds that are bred to inhibit allergies, which is typically what is classified as hypoallergenic.
Labrador Retrievers do have some special dietary needs, as they require certain nutrients and vitamins to lead a healthy lifestyle.
