These types of dogs are bred to work closely with people during activities and events such as bird hunting, obedience, and field work. Labradors—like all Sporting Group members—are known for their intelligence, loyal temperaments, and outgoing personalities. They tend to thrive in an environment filled with love, praise, and training.
Labrador Retrievers have a distinctive, water-resistant double coat that helps to insulate them from both the cold and the heat.
