That being said, the most interesting thing about them is their diversity among their breed line. Not only can Labs be separated into different coat colors, from classic yellow and chocolate, to unique silver and champagne, but they're also known to vary in size, all within the domain of their breed. From smaller-sized Labs weighing in at around 40 lbs, to larger Labradors of up to 100 lbs in weight, there really is a little something for everyone.
The Labrador Retriever is known for its thick, weather-resistant double-coat, which consists of a straight, coarse, and water-resistant outer layer of fur and a dense, soft, and water-resistant inner layer. It typically features a wide variety of colors, including shades of black, yellow, and brown, and can reach lengths of up to 20 inches. The breed is known for its waterproof capabilities, which provides great protection in outdoor settings and harsh weather conditions.
