These popular family dogs were originally bred to work as water dogs and retrievers, to assist fishermen in catching fish. They are also known for their muscle definition, loyalty and even-temperaments. Labradors love being part of a family and have a friendly, gentle nature making them an ideal companion for children.
Labrador Retrievers are low-shedding dogs, making them attractive to people who do not want a lot of hair in their homes.
