Not only is their friendly and loving personality a joy to be around, but they are also incredibly intelligent and quick learners. They have a natural affinity for water and can learn various forms of play and sociability with other breeds. This makes them the perfect family pet! Moreover, they are incredibly loyal and can form life-long bonds with their owners, which make their companionship all the more special.
While Labradors may not shed as much as other breeds, they still have a thick double coat that sheds more than most other dog breeds. They also still need regular grooming and brushing to minimize hair around the house. Generally, Labradors shed their coat twice a year.
