A Labrador Retriever is a breed of dog that originated from Newfoundland, Canada. It is a loyal and gentle breed known for its intelligence and outgoing temperament. Labs are known to be great companions for families, as they can be easy to train and have a striking yet friendly appearance. As a retriever breed, these dogs have a great sense of smell and are excellent retrievers, making them an ideal partner for bird hunting or retrieving objects in the water.
