This breed is intelligent and outgoing, and usually inherits the low-shed, hypoallergenic coat of its Poodle parent. Maltipoos are prized for their cheerful nature and often require regular grooming due to their straight and curly coat textures. They are loyal, loving pets that thrive in a nurturing, interactive family environment.
Maltipoos are considered to be hypoallergenic; many individuals who suffer from dog allergies can enjoy this breed without triggering an allergic reaction. Maltipoo fur is softer and shorter than the fur of many other breeds. This, combined with the lack of an undercoat, means that the Maltipoo sheds fewer allergens than other dogs.
