Maltipoos are a hybrid cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. They are intelligent and friendly dogs known for being hypoallergenic and having a low-shedding coat, making them great companions for those with dog allergies. Maltipoos are typically quite small, coming in heights that range from 8 to 14 inches. They are usually quite active, so they will need plenty of exercise and consistent training to keep them mentally and physically healthy. Grooming requirements are also fairly high with Maltipoos due to their thick coats.
Maltipoos are a designer hybrid dog that have become quite popular in recent years due to their charming personalities and hypoallergenic coats. This crossbreed is a combination of a Maltese and a Toy Poodle. Because they have a Poodle parent, they are considered hypoallergenic due to their low-shedding, low-dander coats. Although each individual Maltipoo is different and can vary in coat type, this mix is often described as soft and wavy.
