The Maltipoo coat is generally soft, thick and velvety. It can vary in length, from short to long, depending on the type of the coat. There are two kind of coats in Maltipoo, those that are wavy or curly and those that are straight. The former type usually have a fluffy texture and the latter type is typically sleeker and flatter. Generally, the coat color is a combination of white, apricot, silver, red, black and tan, though some Maltipoo may have a variation in color that is considered rare.
