Maltipoos have a cheerful personality and easily bond with their owners. They require regular grooming to keep their curly coat from matting, so they need to be brushed weekly. Moreover, Maltipoos need daily exercise, as well as mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy.
Whether or not Maltipoos will cause you to have allergies depends on your individual body's response to pet dander and/or fur. Generally, Maltipoos are less likely to cause allergy problems than other breeds due to their low-shedding coats. However, no breed is totally hypoallergenic, and it is still possible to develop allergies to a Maltipoo. To avoid the possible development of allergies, it is important to bathe your Maltipoo regularly, as well as vacuum your home frequently to reduce the amount of pet dander in the air.
