Depending on the genetics of the individual, Maltipoos may carry traits from both the Maltese parent and the Poodle parent, making them a unique breed that may vary in size, color, and other characteristics such as energy level and personality. Generally, a Maltipoo will range between 6-14 lbs, have a curly, fluffy coat, and be incredibly friendly and affectionate.
Maltipoos can be considered hypoallergenic, as both parent breeds are hypoallergenic. This is because Maltipoos have a low shedding, non-shedding coat that is often wavy or curly and does not typically contain much dander.
