These loving, gentle pets make great family companions for their playful and energetic personalities. They can live up to 16 years in health, and reaching a height of 8-14 inches and a weight of 6-20 pounds. It's important to note that Maltipoos are very intelligent so they must be given constant mental stimulation, as well as regular exercise and playtime.
The Maltipoo coat is most often a combination of the Maltese and Poodle, though it can vary depending on the specific breeding. Generally, it is a soft, silky, and slightly wavy coat, usually white or light cream in color. The length of the coat can range from short to medium, and sometimes a Maltipoo can have a coat that is a bit longer at the shoulder area. Maltipoos can also have a curly coat, which adds to their charming appearance.
Maltipoos are considered part of the Toy Poodle family, which means they should have a diet similar to a Toy Poodle. Generally, this means a high-quality kibble that has all the necessary nutrients and is appropriate for their small size.
