Maltipoos are a hybrid cross breed of Maltese and Toy Poodle. They tend to be small, active, intelligent, and generally good-tempered. Sometimes Maltipoos can have coats that are curly and sometimes they are silky and long. They usually weigh anywhere between 5-20 pounds, and can be found in colors ranging from white to apricot to black. They require daily exercise and playtime as well as mental stimulation through interactive toys. Grooming can be moderately difficult due to the long coats and requires specialized equipment, regular brushing, and occasionally professional grooming.
Maltipoos have a soft, fluffy coat of fur that comes in a variety of colors including black, white, and various shades of brown. The coat can also appear in combinations of colors such as brindle, cream, gray, red, and silver. As Maltipoos are a cross between a Maltese and a Toy/Miniature Poodle, the texture of their coat is often a mix between the two breed's coats. The fur is usually soft, curly, and an ideal length for regular brushing and bathing.
