They are both smart and affectionate, with a penchant for playful behavior. Their most enthralling asset, however, is their wide range of personality and appearance. Maltipoos can have wonderful coats of cream, red, chocolate, or black. Even more fascinating is their mix of independent and interactive tendencies; they may be active and social one minute, and contentedly cuddling up the next.
The Maltipoo coat is generally quite soft and fluffy. It has a combination of varying textures, from silky to wavy or curly. Its color range can be quite diverse as well, ranging from white to brown, black, red, or silver. The Maltipoo is a designer breed, so its coat can also contain combinations or variations of these colors. It is important to regularly brush the Maltipoo coat, to keep it clean, untangled, and free of matting. With regular brushing, its coat should remain soft and healthy.
Maltipoos, a hybrid breed that is a combination of Maltese and Poodle, have a diet that should be individualized based on their size, activity level, age, and health.
