It is one of the most popular of the designer breeds and is known for its small size, intelligence, and playful nature. The breed inherits the best qualities of both its parents – the beautiful, white non-shedding coat of the Maltese, combined with the intelligence and hypoallergenic nature of the Poodle. Generally, adult Maltipoos may reach between 4-15 pounds, depending on the characteristics of their ancestors.
