Maltipoos are a delightful hybrid breed of dog that is a cross between a Maltese and a toy or miniature Poodle. These little dogs are characterized by their fluffy, curled coats and their high intelligence. They make great companion animals as they are loving, gentle and very loyal. They typically weigh between 4-10 lbs when fully grown and are easily trainable. Their coat requires frequent grooming but they will mostly only require brushing 1-2 times a week and occasional trips to the groomer.
The Maltipoo's coat is usually very soft and can range from wavy to curly. It can be either long or short, and the colour varies from light tan to white. A Maltipoo's coat is typically low to non-shedding with minimal to no dander.
