Maltipoos are playful and loyal pup breeds that are great companions. Maltipoos, also known as Maltepoos or Moodles, are a cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. These intelligent little dogs tend to live 12-15 years and love being a part of the family, making them popular among all age-groups. Since they are small in size, they don't need lots of space. Maltipoos can vary in colors and sizes, but are generally low-shedding and have a soft, silky coat.
Maltipoos, a mix of Maltese and Poodle, may sometimes be hypoallergenic. It is important to note that there is no guarantee of a hypoallergenic breed, regardless of the breed of the animal. Instead, the genetic makeup of the individual pet and by how much allergens the pet is exposed to in the environment determines if a pet is hypoallergenic. However, hypoallergenic breeds, such as Poodles and Maltese, are often bred to be less likely to trigger allergic reactions.
Maltipoos benefit from a balanced diet tailored to their particular breed. This means a diet should include both wet and dry food, with the former being a mix of lean meats, fish, and vegetables.
