In addition, Maltipoos typically have an outgoing, friendly, and intelligent personality which makes them wonderful companions. They are also great for apartment living as they don't require a lot of space and won't put their owners under great pressure with loud barking or energetic running.
Maltipoos are considered to be a hypoallergenic breed due to their combination of Maltese and Poodle genetics. This is because they do not shed much, if at all, and therefore there is less of their coat or dander in the air to trigger allergic reactions. Furthermore, Maltipoos have a soft, curl-free coat and the Poodle lineage results in their coat containing very few oils, which is another source of allergens.
Maltipoos are a highly intelligent and loyal breed, often considered to be a good pet choice for a smaller home.
