Maltipoos are a loving and loyal hybrid breed, a mix of the Miniature Poodle and Maltese. They bring together some of the best attributes of the two parent breeds, with their adorable teddy bear looks, fluffy white coats, and low-shedding, hypoallergenic qualities. Size wise, they typically weigh 8-14 pounds and stand 8-14 inches tall. They are very social creatures that require lots of attention and affection, and can make for wonderful family pets.
Maltipoos, a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle, are generally considered to be a non-shedding dog breed. Since both parent breeds are low-shedding, Maltipoos tend to have a low to non-shedding coat, which is great for pet owners who suffer from allergies or just prefer a low maintenance coat. Most Maltipoo coats do need regular grooming which includes brushing, as well as professional grooming appointments every four to six weeks.
