Maltipoos make beloved pets due to their personable nature and their position within a compact size range. They have a curly, hypoallergenic, single or double coat which can be straight, wavy, or curly. These dogs have an alert temperament and are typically friendly with people, making them ideal companions or family pets. They are easy to train and love to please their owners.
Maltipoos are a hybrid cross breed of a Poodle and a Maltese. While Poodles are naturally hypoallergenic, there is no definitive answer as to whether Maltipoos are as well. What we do know is that they are considered to have minimal to low shedding coats, which does help to mitigate allergies related to dander.
