This small breed is incredibly smart and friendly, making them a great family pet. They also have two distinct coat varieties, with the wavy curls of a Poodle or the silky straight locks of the Maltese. Additionally, Maltipoos don't shed very much which makes them ideal for allergy sufferers.
The gorgeous Maltipoo coat is characterized by its softness and dense texture. Depending on the parents, the coat may be straight or lightly wavy. The hair fibers of this dog tend to be curly, but it can vary from individual to individual. The thick fur is ideal for keeping the Maltipoo warm in cold climates or breezy days.
