Maltipoos are a hybrid cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. The mixture of these two loyal and loving breeds makes for an incredibly good-natured pet. Maltipoos tend to be low-shedding and hypoallergenic, making them a great pet choice for those allergic to pet dander. They are typically friendly and get along well with children, strangers, and other pets. In addition to having an endearing personality, they are usually of small size.
Maltipoos have a soft and wavy coat, usually described as a velvety texture. Most of these hybrid pups inherit the fluffy, wavy hair of their Poodle parent and the low-shedding coat of their Maltese parent. This unique mix of hair types makes for a coat that is not too long or too short, and it is often light-to-medium in density and length. Most Maltipoos have a single coat, however some can have a double coat due to their Poodle parentage.
