This class of dog is considered a designer breed, known for its intelligence, sweet nature, and cuddly appearance. Maltipoos generally weigh between four and fifteen pounds, though size can depend on the type of poodle used for breeding. This breed is considered very friendly and is great with children; however, they may bark a lot if not given enough attention or exercise.
The Maltipoo coat is generally very soft and fluffy, and can come in a variety of colors. It has a combination of its parents' coats, which results in the unique, wavy coat of the Maltipoo.
